The cover sections summarised here are those available for our Auto & Office offering. Certain sections serve as standard inclusions in your client’s policy and others are optional – all depending on the exact nature of the insured business.

A travel agent, for example, automatically enjoys all cover highlighted below, with the option to add the other sections:
 
  Fire (Optional) Covers the business property against loss and damage due to a wide scope of perils ranging from fire, lightning, earthquakes, storms and snow to charges for fire extinguishing at the insured premises.
Business Interruption To place your client back in the same position if turnover/sales/revenue/income is lost as a result of loss or damage to the insured property.
Office Contents Specific cover for the office furniture your client keeps inside the insured premises.
  Theft (Optional) Ensures that your client’s business goods will be covered against robberies and burglaries.
Money Protects your client in the event of loss of or damage to cash, cheques or even safes.
Glass Specific cover for the fixed glass at your client’s insured premises.
Electronic Equipment A specialised cover extension for loss and damage to computers and licensed software used for business purposes.
  Portable Business Possessions (Optional) Provides wider cover for business items that are regularly taken away from the insured premises.
  Public Liability (Optional) Protects the client who is held legally responsible for injuries, death or damage to a third party.
  Goods in Transit (Optional) Covers your client’s business goods when being transported.
  Motor (Optional) Ensures protection of your vehicle/s against accidents, theft and many other incidents, depending on the type of cover you have selected.
Accounts Receivable Compensates your client if amounts owed to the insured business cannot be traced because the financial records were lost or destroyed in an incident covered under the fire section of the policy.
Fidelity Guarantee Protects your client against losses suffered due to fraud by employees.
Personal Accident Provides insured owners and shareholders of the business with cover for death, disablement and medical expenses after an accident.
  Employers’ Liability (Optional) Protects your client if he/she is held legally responsible for injuries, death or illness suffered by an employee.
Accidental Damage Presents a unique extension to cover business goods against accidental loss and damage. These incidents are not insurable under any other policy section.
