Auto & General recently introduced another industry first: a Service Charter for its Brokers.
The Auto & General Broker Service Charter is a declaration of service values and was created
out of our desire to continually improve levels of service for our Brokers and ensure the
right to excellence for our Brokers and their clients.
The Auto & General Broker Service Charter does not constitute a list of vague promises.
In fact, we have distinguished ourselves in these rights by including penalties if we fail
to deliver on our commitments. These penalties were devised based on research into the real
needs of our Brokers and their clients, things the insurance industry as a whole does not
always deliver on.
The Auto & General Broker Service Charter is based on five main principles:

Apart from our primary objective of raising and maintaining levels of service excellence
within the company itself, we aim to increase the standard of service in the short-term
industry as a whole; after all we are all striving for the same thing – client satisfaction!
